Since the move, life at home feels harder. Your children's meltdowns are escalating. Conflicts are piling up. And you're in the middle of it all — exhausted from holding everything together.

I’m Clio — a parenting coach for expat and multicultural families.

I help mothers rebuild connection with their children and with themselves, without chasing perfection.

Something shifted when you moved.

Mornings have become battles. Your child melts down over nothing — more intensely, more often than before. They cry without apparent reason, appear defiant, clingy or on edge.
The conflicts pile up. And you keep trying to stay patient, to do everything right — but you find yourself reacting in ways that don’t feel like you. In the evening, you wonder why everything is so hard, when you organised this whole move to give your family a better life.

You’re not broken. The context became too heavy — for you and for your children.

This isn’t just a parenting problem. When a family relocates, everyone adapts — but faster than the nervous system can follow. Your child is managing a new school, a new language, new social codes — while still needing you to be their safe base. You’re rebuilding a social life, possibly a professional identity, a home that feels like home again. Maybe your partner is absorbed by their new role. Maybe you’re the one who followed, and you’re still figuring out who you are here. The result is a specific emotional loop that runs in expat families — one that doesn’t resolve on its own, and that ordinary parenting advice was never designed to address.

What you’re experiencing has a name. And once you see the pattern running underneath, everything becomes clearer.

This is how we work together.

The Rooted Connection Method is a coaching approach built specifically for expat and multicultural families.

Three steps:

1 — Map the loop
We identify the exact moment where stress becomes reaction in your family — and why the expat context makes it so much harder to interrupt.

2 — Understand the trigger
We work on the underlying belief driving the spiral — not just the behaviour on the surface. This is where real change begins.

3 — Build your calm anchor
We create a new dynamic rooted in connection, not control — one that holds across countries, transitions and cultures.

This isn’t a list of techniques. It’s a shift in how you see yourself, your children, and what’s actually happening between you.

I'm Clio — I've lived what you're going through

I've been an expat for over 15 years. I'm a mother of two. And I still remember the moment a move abroad turned ordinary daily moments — the school run, coming home, bedtime — into emotional breaking points for our whole family. I'd planned for the adventure. I hadn't planned for that.

For over six years, I've worked with parents who want to understand what's really happening beneath the surface — and to find their way back to connection with their children and with themselves, without chasing perfection. My approach isn't a toolkit. It's a process: identifying the patterns, understanding the limiting beliefs blocking connection, and building something new — adapted to your real life, wherever in the world you are.

You don't have to keep holding it alone.

The first step is simply understanding what’s really happening in your family — and knowing where to put your attention. That’s exactly what we do together in 30 minutes.
